#What's New

#Pricing, Billing & Credits

Cortex now has a full subscription system. You can choose a plan, top up credits, and manage your subscription directly inside the app — no separate portal needed.

New users automatically receive $5 in free credits to get started. Invite a friend with your referral code and earn more credits when they sign up.

#Usage Dashboard

A new Usage section is available under Chat Settings → Billing & Usage. See exactly how many credits you've used and what's remaining at a glance. Admins can also view credit usage across the entire organization to track spend and plan ahead.

#Cortex Browser

You can now automate real browser tasks inside Cortex — filling forms, navigating sites, downloading files, and more. A visual lock overlay shows when automation is active, and the agent pauses to ask you if it hits a decision it can't make on its own. You can now run multiple browser agents in parallel, each color-coded so you can tell them apart.

Browser tasks can draw on your custom skills, and after each run Cortex gives you a post-run assessment with suggestions to improve the skill for next time.

#Create Office Files Directly

Ask Cortex to create a new Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file from scratch — right inside your workspace.

#One-Click Issue Reporting

Spotted a problem? The new Report Issue button captures the relevant logs automatically and sends them to the team — no manual steps needed.

#Improvements

  • Smarter task summaries — Cleaner, more useful summaries after long tasks
  • More reliable long-running tasks — Fewer drop-offs, more consistent progress
  • Better pause-and-resume — The AI now pauses (not stops) when it needs your input mid-task
  • Office tools use richer AI context — More accurate and consistent edits in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Faster email and calendar input — Cortex now types in bulk, not character by character
  • Browser engine updated — Improved compatibility and stability across browser automation tasks
  • Workspace opens to home folder by default — One fewer click every time you launch
  • "Organization" replaces "Cortex App" — Clearer label for your team space throughout the UI
  • Attached images are visible in chat — Images now display inline when attached to a message
