What's New

A great first impression, every time

The very first time you use Cortex, the AI now automatically starts in its most capable mode. Your first task gets the best possible result without any configuration on your end.

Improvements

  • Your PDFs look better than ever — Documents with tables, formatting, or structured layouts produce a cleaner, more polished result.
  • Cortex is ready to go, right out of the box — Removed a setup step that used to cause issues for some Windows users. Everything is included in the installer.
  • Your zoom level is saved — Cortex now remembers your zoom level in documents and spreadsheets across sessions.
  • Works smoothly with bigger files — Large spreadsheets and long documents now handle much more reliably.
  • The AI doesn't lose track of your edits — After you change a document, Cortex checks the latest version before acting, so it never overwrites your work.
  • Knows what day it is — The AI is now aware of today's date, which makes it more helpful for scheduling, reporting, or filling in dates.
  • Runs lighter in the background — Cortex uses less memory while running for a smoother experience, especially on older machines.
